Day 11 of 31 Days to Better Genealogy is: Label your Photographs. I really like how Amy talked about even if you only get 10 pictures labeled, that that would be 10 more labeled pictures that you had before.
I have received many of the family’s photo albums and in an effort to preserve them and label them, I have been scanning and uploading the photos to Ancestry and FamilySearch. I really like the FamilySearch Memories area because you can tag specific faces within the photo that links to their profile page.
