“Walking the 1890 Census in Washington DC” by Lisa Buckner of Roam Your Roots

Roam Your Roots is a genealogy YouTube channel that I enjoy the content on. One of my absolute favorite videos is one that tours the houses in a neighborhood in DC where some of the 1890 census pages survived. Fascinating!

She shares what the 1890 census pages look like (which I had never seen), gives a short biography on the families, and what the houses look like. I have watched this video multiple times and really enjoy it. The next time that I get to visit DC, I’d like to walk this pretty neighborhood in person.
