My mom’s side of the family has been involved with the Masons and Eastern Star for generations. While cleaning out my Aunt Nina and Uncle Dick’s home in Buffalo, I took with me all of the Proceeding’s of the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star Annual Session books of which they had nearly a full collection of from 1915 to present.
The collection is too large for me to extract all of the genealogical data out of and should be shared with the public, therefore, we are donating the collection to the Grosvenor Room of the Central Public Library in Buffalo.
From there, I will still be able to access the books along with all of the other genealogists and historians that would like to. Just an example, here a few of the pages of memorials that you can find within these books:1
